POST CONFERENCE WORKSHOP
THURSDAY FEBRUARY 28TH 2008

‘How To Grow Your Business While Reducing Your Carbon Footprint’
This practical, interactive session will look at the cost efficiency benefits and business opportunities from reducing your footprint and provide the business tools and strategies required to initiate a methodology for measuring and establishing realistic reduction programmes to expand your business.
Businesses are already being affected by climate change and the challenge is how to respond to in a way that makes sense for your company. Though interactive discussions and practical case study examples the workshop will focus on the following key questions:
- What are the components of a smart corporate strategy for companies that are serious about climate change?
- How does carbon footprinting support the understanding of a spectrum of options that includes energy efficiency, offsetting and a shift to renewables?
